The powder is mainly composed of polyethylene oxide, with no added fragrance or preservatives. Once the lubricating gel has been prepared, it only keeps for a few days in the refrigerator: it is generally best to prepare an amount suited to the session rather than making a large batch in advance.

Unlike a ready-to-use bottled lubricant, J-Lube gives full control over the final consistency: more or less water can be added for a more fluid gel or, on the contrary, a very thick texture, suited to long progression in ass play. The finish leaves no marks on sheets or laundry, and rinses off with clean water after use.

Once diluted, it remains usable with latex, including gloves and condoms, as well as with silicone dildos, plugs and sex toys, without risking damage to the material.
