Lovense connects its sex toys via Bluetooth through a dedicated app, with local control within a range of around ten metres or remote control via the internet, wherever the partner is.
The app can synchronise two different sex toys with each other: the movements of one trigger a reaction on the other in real time, allowing partnered use even at a distance. An audio sync mode also converts the sound of music or video into vibrations, via the phone’s microphone.
Remote access remains subject to explicit authorisation: the partner must accept a request or share a code, which can be revoked at any time from the app.
